Tired of Pouring Into Everyone But Yourself?

You're leading teams, raising families, serving your community, and carrying everyone's vision but your own. Let's be real - it's exhausting, and too often you're doing it alone with no clear plan.

Let's Do Work is an award-winning coaching practice that pairs neuroscience-based strategies with practical, values-driven principles - so your growth isn't chaotic or dependent on hustle. It's clear, structured, and rooted in who you truly are.

✨ Pause the chaos. Get clarity. Walk boldly in purpose.

I'm Ready for Clarity

You Deserve...

1

To walk in your purpose.

You've poured your gifts into everyone else's dream. Now it's time to embrace the vision you have for your own life.

2

To navigate transitions with confidence and resilience.

Life's shifts don't have to shake you. You can move through uncertainty grounded and steady.

3

To lead with clarity, not chaos.

Strategy doesn't have to feel overwhelming. You deserve structure and a plan that works for you.

4

To heal out loud.

Your story is your power. Use what you've been through to uplift others and strengthen your community.

5

To be surrounded by real support.

You don't have to do this alone. You deserve a coach and a community who see you fully.

6

To live a life of abundance and fulfillment.

Not someday - now. Step confidently into your purpose and lead a life that pays you back.

Yes, I Deserve This

I'm DarNesha!

I'm a dynamic motivational speaker, author, and CEO - Seattle-born and raised - and my life's work is rooted in service. I lead by living my story: healing out loud and using what I've been through to uplift others and strengthen my community.

As founder and CEO of Black Coffee Northwest, I've built more than a coffee company - I've cultivated a movement centered on connection, restoration, and empowerment. Through Let's Do Work Consulting, I coach nonprofit executives, first-time founders, and institutional leaders navigating complex change. And through my book, Grounded in Grace, Called to Shift, I inspire women to embrace their divine purpose and navigate life's transitions with faith and resilience.

With 25 years of building, leading, and scaling organizations, I've loved nothing more than helping women step confidently into their purpose and lead lives of abundance and fulfillment.

This is your sign to do the work you were called to do.

Nonprofit Accountability Coalition

Community Power, Backed by Evidence

Billions of dollars are entrusted to nonprofits every year to solve our communities' most urgent problems. Communities deserve to know whether that money is actually reaching the people it was meant to help. The coalition organizes communities to ask hard questions, investigate public and philanthropic funding, elevate the voices of people served, and demand measurable results.

We are not an anti-nonprofit coalition. We are a pro-accountability coalition. We ask a different question than most: not just how much money an organization received, but what the community actually got for that investment - and who is doing this well.

Founded by DarNesha Bowman - a 25-year North Seattle organizer who has led a nonprofit from the inside and built Black Coffee Northwest from the ground up on community trust - this coalition exists because real accountability shouldn't be a matter of luck.

Upcoming Event

Coalition Community Meeting

Join us for the first community meeting of the Nonprofit Accountability Coalition. This is a space for community members, organizers, nonprofit workers, researchers, advocates, and young leaders to come together to talk about nonprofit accountability, transparency, and community oversight.

We'll introduce the vision for the coalition, talk about our first focus on rent assistance, and discuss how we can collect community experiences, research the data, ask the hard questions, and create meaningful accountability.

We're building this together, across generations and experiences. Come listen. Come share. Come help us build. Every voice matters. Every interaction counts.

How the Work Moves - Seven Steps, Every Time

1 · Stories

People with direct experience share what happened.

2 · Data

Scattered stories become a structured record.

3 · Patterns

Do many independent people describe the same problem?

4 · Research

Contracts, budgets, records, and outcomes.

5 · Questions

Every organization gets a real chance to respond.

6 · Public Accountability

Findings published, including the organization's response.

7 · Reform

Success is measured by actual fixes, not attention.

Three Generations, One Table

Intentionally intergenerational: emerging organizers, the working generation, and movement elders. Our Youth Accountability Lab brings organizers ages 18-25 into real research, interviewing, and organizing roles alongside experienced mentors, not underneath them.

Get Involved

Share your story, help with research, join the Youth Accountability Lab, bring a professional skill, partner with us - or just show up.

Our First Project

Rent Assistance Accountability Project (RAAP)

RAAP is our proof of concept for this entire process. It asks a simple question: how does rent assistance money move from public and philanthropic funding to the people who need it in the City of Seattle, King County, and Washington State - and does it actually get there? We intend to bring this same approach to other communities and other issues once RAAP has proven the model.

Documentation Matters

Every interaction tells part of the story. We have two simple ways for you to document your rent assistance experience - you can use either form, or both.

Quick Form

Use this when you need to quickly record a call, email, visit, update, or other interaction. Takes about one minute, and it's designed to be filled out in the moment so nothing gets lost to memory.

Quick Form - Log an Interaction

Long Form

Use this when you have more time to share details about your experience, what happened, and the outcome. You can share anonymously, and you don't have to answer every question.

Long Form - Share Your Experience

The information you provide helps us identify patterns, understand what people are experiencing, and build a stronger picture of how rent assistance programs are working. Document every interaction. Every entry helps build the record.

We protect the privacy and safety of everyone who shares. We verify before we publish, every organization gets a real chance to respond, and if we get something wrong we correct it publicly.
